These terms apply to quotes, installations, checkups, repairs, and structure fabrication work carried out by AK Power (“we”, “us”) for customers in Karachi. By requesting a quote or booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes & site visits
Quotes given before a site visit are estimates based on the information you provide (bill amount, property type, symptoms described). A final, binding quote is issued after a site visit, once roof condition, wiring, and actual load are confirmed. Prices are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from what was described.
2. Payment
Payment terms (including any deposit required before work begins and the balance due on completion) will be confirmed in writing as part of your final quote before installation or repair work starts.
3. Installation timelines
Estimated timelines (for example, 2-4 days for a typical residential installation) depend on system size, structure type, roof access, and the K-Electric net metering process, which is outside our direct control. We'll keep you informed of any delays.
4. Warranty
Installation workmanship is covered by our own warranty for a period confirmed at the time of your quote. Panels, inverters, and batteries also carry their manufacturer's warranty, handled according to that manufacturer's terms. Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage from acts of nature, unauthorized modification, or lack of routine maintenance.
5. Checkups & repairs on other installers' systems
We service systems installed by other companies. In these cases, our workmanship warranty applies only to the work we personally carry out — we are not responsible for the condition of pre-existing equipment or prior installation work we did not perform.
6. Net metering
We handle the K-Electric net metering application and inspection process on your behalf where included in your quote. Approval timelines and outcomes are ultimately determined by K-Electric and are outside our control.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked site visit or installation, please contact us as early as possible. Work already completed or materials already ordered specifically for your job may not be refundable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our work is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of business income due to a system fault), except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi.
